GUI - Whitelist
You can create either domain or keyword based whitelist/blacklist here.
Whitelist > Domain
Domain based whitelist/blacklist. You can bypass or block a specific domain in a URL without setting up a policy.
You can use an asterisk to include subdomains.
ex) *.nxfilter.org
ex) *.nxfilter.org
You can set the following flags,
- Bypass Authentication : Allows users to access a site without authentication.
- Bypass Filtering : Allows users to bypass filtering.
- Bypass Logging : Bypasses logging for certain domains.
- Admin Block : Blocks a domain without creating a policy. This option overrides Bypass Filtering.
- Drop Packet : Responds with NXDOMAIN to prevent client retries and excludes the transaction from the traffic log database.
Whitelist > Keyword
Keyword based whitelist/blakclist. You can bypass or block domains by keyword matching.
You can use an asterisk as a wildcard in a keyword.
ex) porn*site
ex) porn*site
Whitelist > Common Bypass
Add domains in bulk to bypass filtering and user authentication. Global level only.
Whitelist > Temporary Bypass
Create temporary bypass rules at user, group, or global level.
